Aims:

This one-day workshop explores the concept of reflective practice, linking it to the performance of experts and the assessment of novices.

Learning objectives:

Explore the effective use of workplace based assessments in order to foster reflection-in-action.

At the end of this workshop, delegates will have

* considered what it means to be a reflective dental practitioner

* identified and rehearsed strategies to foster reflective practice ‘on the job’ and during tutorials
